Leisure Team raise money for Air Ambulance Service

A members' coffee morning gathered great momentum with the help of all of the hotel staff on Friday 3rd July 2015.
This included the Leisure clubs morning cleaner known by her colleagues as Chrissy 'Motormouth' Wakefield.  Chrissy vowed to be silent for the duration of her shift in order to raise some cash for such a good cause, resulting in raising just over £390 alone just to keep quiet.  Whilst her silence was taking place the rest of the staff sold raffle tickets, cakes, coffee and teas which took the hotel raised to over £1,000, a great contribution was made by all that were involved.
Thanks to everyone for their generous donations and to our member Mick Frost who is an air ambulance volunteer, for his assistance with rallying the team effort.
